The 2026 American Bonsai Society Learning Seminars, Bonsai in the Blue Ridge, will be held on June 4-7 at the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, NC, with the Blue Ridge Bonsai Society as a co-organizer. The features seminars on various topics, bonsai workshops conducted by leading bonsai professionals, demos, a juried exhibition of bonsai trees, an extensive bonsai vendor area and auctions and raffles, in addition to several social events.
How do I join?
Please follow these steps to become a new member of the Blue Ridge Bonsai Society:
1. Click on ‘Join’ at the top of the page. This will take you to a webpage where you can select between an individual membership or a family membership as well as see the benefits membership offers. Select one of these and click on ‘Buy Now’. This will take you to a Checkout page.
2. Enter your email address and click on ‘Continue’. You'll then fill out the Membership Form so that we can get to know you better and stay in contact. Finally, enter your payment information and click on ‘Buy Now’.
Note: By default, memberships will auto-renew at the start of each year after multiple reminder emails are sent to you. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time in your account settings or simply by emailing us at blueridgebonsaisociety@gmail.com.
3. Information on how to create an account and access the Members Only section will be sent to you after the checkout process is completed. You will also be asked to fill out an online Membership Form to help us get to know your better and add you to the club directory; please do so.
4. Once you create an account and fill out the Membership form you will have access to the Members Only section. Note: When you have access to the Members Only section, please go to ‘Account and Profile Settings’ in the drop down menu under the person icon at the top right corner of the webpage and change your display name to your actual name, not your email address, so members will know who you are e.g. when you post or comment on the Forum page.
